The idea for Laazi was born in a coffee shop in Dubai - to launch a job portal for the Middle East. Why another job portal? The Middle East already has its fair share of job portals. In fact, there are many excellent portals helping jobseekers find good jobs here. However, what we saw with jobseekers was how frustrating and complicated it was for them to go through the job seeking process. We thought we could make the whole process much simpler for jobseekers.

Simplicity. And that was it. Just a simple conversation that ended with "Let's do this". That was back in 2007. Today - September, 2008 - we have taken our first step.

A 10-member team working tirelessly to help jobseekers around the Middle East - helping them find jobs that "match" their skills, rather than just any job that is available. We think it's wrong that someone is not working in their "dream job" just because they could not "find" it. Laazi will try hard to locate every type of job out there in the Middle East and get it listed here so you as a jobseeker will never again have to lose an opportunity just because you couldn't find it.
